BOWLING
2017 Cheshire Merit Competition
Our bowling green is maintained to a high standard and is used by various leagues to stage cup games.
It was used as recently as 2017 by Cheshire County to stage their prestigious 'Cheshire Merit' Competition.

Our Teams
We have 3 Men's teams, 1 Ladies team and 1 Mixed team, although nowadays both Men and Ladies can be called on to play in all teams if required.
One Men's team plays on Monday and Occasionally Friday evenings, while the Men's Vets team plays on Thursday afternoons, The 3rd Men's team play on a Tuesday Evening.
Our Ladies teams play on various mid-week evenings, while our Mixed team plays on Thursday evenings.

Social Bowling
We are planning some 'fun bowls/New bowler day's' this year.
The Winter 'open to non-members' competition runs on Sundays at 10.00am from mid-January to mid-March and this is open to all age groups.
New members
We are always happy to welcome prospective new members, who can come along to any of our matches to watch and to meet our members.
Our members would be pleased to introduce novices to the game, and for the more experienced bowler, we have a qualified bowls instructor/referee in the club.
